HOW WE BEGAN
It all began with one dog. I was not always a big fan of big dogs, hated them actually. My husband had three dogs, shedding constantly, making messes in the house. I had a small Lhasa Apso, non shedding little dog. I constantly complained about his three dogs, until one day.
Molly. Molly was a shepherd mix, drove me crazy. She barked, dug up the yard, would get out of our yard, so many things. One day, Molly took off chasing a deer and was hit by a car. We were devastated. We cried for weeks. Molly's friend Mindy was also depressed. I started looking on Petfinder.com for a friend for Mindy. I came across this little guy who was going to be heartsticked (killed by sticking a needle in his heart). I reached out to the shelter where he was and located a group of transport volunteers.
We named him Trey. After Trey, we started to pull a dog from the shelter that was going to be put to sleep, and would bring them into our home. We would get them altered and shots and find them good homes. This is how we began.
To Molly's memory, if it wasn't for her, we would not have saved thousands of dogs and cats. To this dog that drove me crazy, made my blood boil, thank you because you're the reason for what we are and what we continue to be... Every Dog's Dream Rescue.

WHO WE AREAt Every Dog's Dream, it takes an army. And we have the best Army around. Our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, who dedicate their time, hearts and homes to the caring of our animals. Here at Every Dog's Dream we are always searching for eager new volunteers to do everything from cleaning and working at the center, to fostering and clerical work.
